Flying to Harbour Island: Choose North Eleuthera Airport
For a stay on Harbour Island, search for North Eleuthera Airport (ELH). This is the airport serving northern Eleuthera, Harbour Island and Spanish Wells. From ELH, your journey continues with a ground transfer to the dock and a water taxi to Harbour Island.
Eleuthera also has airports at Governor’s Harbour (GHB) and Rock Sound (RSD). These are separate arrival points elsewhere on the island, so check the airport code carefully before booking.

Tradewind Aviation: Fort Lauderdale and Stuart
Tradewind Aviation publishes scheduled service to North Eleuthera from Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) and Stuart’s Witham Field (SUA).
Its current route table lists year-round service, with twice-daily departures from Fort Lauderdale and twice-daily departures Thursday through Monday from Stuart. Bookings currently extend through June 1, 2027.
What to know before you book: Tradewind uses private terminals. At FLL, flights depart from Sheltair rather than the main commercial terminal. The airline recommends at least two hours between a commercial flight and a Tradewind flight in either direction.
Latest service update: From November 12–15, 2026, Tradewind advises that its Stuart flights will operate from Fort Pierce (FPR) during the Witham Field airshow closure.

Makers Air: Fort Lauderdale Executive to North Eleuthera
Makers Air offers scheduled flights from Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) to North Eleuthera. Its dedicated route page currently lists departures on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, with private charters also available.
What to know before you book: Fort Lauderdale Executive (FXE) and Fort Lauderdale International (FLL) are different airports. Allow for a ground transfer if your incoming flight lands at FLL.

Western Air: The airline’s North Eleuthera service was temporarily suspended, as acknowledged in a September 30, 2026 ministry statement. Although ELH remains listed on its website, a confirmed restart date was not found during this review. Contact Western Air for the latest operating status.
Pineapple Air: Recent reporting states that its North Eleuthera service was discontinued. We could not confirm current service directly with the airline during this review, so check before relying on older flight listings.
