Make this locale your board retreat location
Whether you are a for-profit or non-profit organization this location is the ideal get away for a strategic planning retreat or board meeting. Our organization needed to spend some time away from our operations so this location was ideal to carve out some individual private time and to meet formally. Valentines coordinated a boardroom (which accommodated our small board comfortably, but could easily seat 15-17 people) We enjoyed a spacious conference table and the staff made sure we were able to use the remote technology during the course of our meeting (Vernon and Vanessa were very attentive). We opted to dine a la carte at the Rooster Tail Bar & Grill where the marina view, friendly and hospitable staff (thank you Eleanor at lunch and Maxcine for post board meeting activity) made for a relaxing kick off and end note to our day. Fantastic way to build relationships, take in the sea breeze, conduct business and enjoy delicious food all at the same time. We will return annually after this very pleasant experience.
Great place; great dive center
Really enjoyed the facilities. Spacious and relatively reasonable accommodations. Dive Center was exceptional. Anita put the family on a sea turtle and other marine megafauna, then took some exceptional underwater photos.
Perfect family holiday
We spent a week beginning of August at the resort and it was just ideal. There were few people on the island which was great as we often had the beach for ourselves in the morning. We had a huge bedroom facing the swimming pool and the sea. Having a microwave and a fridge made it easy with our 2-year-old! We could have lunch or dinner on our terrace. We just can’t wait to go back 🙂

Great Vacation!
Stayed for 6 nights with my family in a 2 bedroom villa.. loved it! The villa was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable, clean bathroom and had a washer & dryer. Love the location of the resort, easy walk into town, Very convenient to everything, a 3 minute golf cart to a very private beach. Great restaurants on the property. GREAT dive shop right there… would absolutely stay there again.
New Years trip with family and friends
We stayed at sapodilla house which was spacious and comfortable. Great tv room. Large bedrooms and comfy mattresses outdoor space was terrific close to pool marina and walking distance beach club. Enjoyed a festive New Year’s Eve fun staff and the Junkanoo. Lots of ping pong by the pool shops were terrific Loved it.
Best Asst Dockmaster
Dock master Peter was awesome again. Came in with 15k winds out of south and he eased us in without even touching a piling. Hardest working dock master in the Bahamas, 3rd year in a row. Love the pool and restaurant. The Beach is one of the prettiest in the world. We love Harbour Island.
Great food with a great view
We were on Harbour Island for a wedding and the “recovery brunch” was held at Valentines. They offered a brunch of fresh fruit, scrambled eggs , breakfast potatoes, mini pancakes, sausage and bacon, and more. It was fresh and delicious. We were so impressed we came back that night to watch football at their outdoor bar and have dinner. It’s a beautiful location and the food was delicious.
My favorite place to hang out
I really enjoyed the good at the restaurant. To be honest this was my favorite place to hang out. Drinks are good, service it’s great! Very friendly people. The conch fritters are the best I had in the island! The wings are very good as well. The view it’s amazing! If you walk around the marina you will be able to see sharks. They have a coffee shop right across the street. I would definitely recommend this place.
Perfect Getaway!
Valentines Resort is the perfect getaway! The staff are beyond friendly, the resort is well maintained with a great location. This was our third visit this year. We just love it and can’t wait to return soon!
Greatest Place Ever!
Where can i start. We have been coming for YEARS to Valentines Marina by boat and have had a wonderful time, every time. I just came back a few weeks ago, and i am an avid fisherman seeking for my first tuna, and Marcus, the dock Master, got a guide for us and made my dream come true! We caught all types of fish. Aside from the very kind staff, great food and entertainment, and clean property, i made a lot of friends in my stay. I am now friends with one of the workers, Peter through social media just so i can stay in touch with Harbour Island:) Thank you so much for making our stay brilliant time and time again and keeping our tradition alive!
Good Place To Stay If You Have A Boat
We took our boat over to Harbour Island for a fishing trip, were we first stopped in Bimini. Valentines is good if you have a boat. They have good dockage and easy access to the ocean for the main event. Yellow Fin Tuna fishing. World class Yellow Fin Tuna fishing.
Great marina
We’ve visited the marina twice, both times was a pleasant experience. Staff very friendly and helpful. Canceled one of our slip reservations and they transferred the deposit to our other boat without even asking. Have never stayed in the hotel but certainly recommend the marina!
Good marina fabulous restaurant and bar
Friendly staff, great marina bar and restaurant. Power for boats is a little unreliable but dock staff willing to help you out. Lots of tvs in the bar area so you can watch your favorite game with a cocktail and some appetizers. Well air conditioned front office and cute gift store as well. Dive store and Starbucks are here too!
Fishing
We had the best time bone fishing with Vincent today! Peter set everything up. You go to Valentines and hop on a boat. They have great service and take care of you. We caught 6 fish in 3 hours. Vincent was the fishing guide and it was amazing! Best day ever!
Great Food, Amazing Service, Excellent Dockage
Our first visit to this area was a spectacular event. We arrived by boat with quite a bit of wind and were helped by the dock hands who handled our lines professionally. Our check in was by Violet who was most friendly and educated us on the area then arranged for golf cart rental for us so we didnt have to leave the place. Upon departing Peter was there to manage our lines and assist with fueling. He was very helpful given the windy day. We ate at the restaurant facing the docks one night and our service was very attentive and the food was spectacular. I would definitely recommend this place and we look forward to future visits!
Wonderful Marina Stay
Stayed a few nights at the Marina and had a wonderful trip.
Peter the Dockmaster is an absolute *treasure*. We had some weather kick up during our stay and he was so knowledgable about how to best shore up the boat ropes — this guy knows his dock!! He even provided great restaurant recommendations.
Also had great experiences with all of the ladies in the marina office – so friendly and helpful.
The pool area is lovely and the bar is nice (great wifi up there also!!).
We’ll be back!
Clean and the best on the Island
Stayed here for one night while island hopping on a chartered boat. Rooms are very clean and large. Had a ground level room with a terrace facing the pool area. Checkin was not the fastest but who is complaining when you just came from a boat while enjoying the beautiful seas of the Bahamas. Drinks at the restaurant were also very good and the wifi was also superb. Complimentary golf cart was included but I am not sure if that was arranged through our charter. Kitchen closes early so make sure you have dinner no later than 8pm. However, small local take out restaurant was still open at 10 and had some great lobster with peas and rice. I believe the name was pinochio’s. Will definitely visit again when coming to Harbour Island.

Great place to stay, especially with a boat
This is a great place place to stay, especially with a boat. We had a 120 foot boat, which was accommodated easily, and they had room for many more, even larger boats. They have a restaurant on site at the marina, where you can sit outside and eat, the rooms here are nice and kept up, and they have golf carts available for rent to get around the island. If you’re traveling around by boat, this is a great place for a pit stop.
Great resort and marina within a short walk.
Valentines is a great place to stay, or simply hang out. They have happy hour daily from 4.00 to 6.00 pm, with drink and food specials. Several charter boats there, so lots of activity, and the sunset was perfect!
Fabulous Marina
This place had everything we needed and more. Slip for the boat, pool side service, golf carts to explore the island and clean rooms with a view. Marina restaurant is good, and there is a coffee shop and gym too. Easy to get around and loved seeing all the other boats docks and googling them afterward.
Summer Fun
This was an awesome island! We stayed at the Valentines Marina on our boat! The people are friendly, The food was so good, and the place is so safe! The beaches with there pink sand and turquoise waters so beautiful! The weather was awesome and the best part was driving the island on golf carts! I can’t wait to go back!!!
Boat stay at Valentine’s
My only complaint is that your marina is the best in HI, but it needs a breakwater for a really first class marina experience……..water taxis, wind chop, etc. We love your staff…………….particularly Marcus and Peter, your dock masters.
Boat Trip to Harbour Island
We traveled by boat to Harbour Island Bahamas from FL. We used the marina and had reservations. Had a great time and location. We walked everywhere on the Island. Food was good and people very friendly and helpful. Took a ferry ride to Eleuthera.
Rating Valentines a “WOW”
Just back from a cold weather escape to Valentines Resort and I would rate it a ” WOW” !! My first visit – so did not know what to expect … but definitely recommending to friends ! Thank you’s to Chris at the Bar, and Curt for fresh flowers in my room and taking such good care of us !! Beach chairs at pink sands perfect ! And fantastic happy hour for sunsets at marina .
Relaxed and pleasant atmosphere!
Very easy and casual- great cocktail menu and a full equipped bar which is surprisingly hard to find in the island. Lovely service as well! Here you will have a lovely view plus the food menu option is very tasty. If in harbour island please do visit this place!
Birthday Getaway
Had the opportunity to celebrate my birthday once again on Harbor Island. First and foremost, we encountered nothing but professionalism at Valentine’s Resort. The front desk ladies, and Curt the attendant were superb. In addition, we dined at the Rooster Bar- I would highly recommend their grilled chicken caesar salad with the conch chowder soup.
Great food service and location
The service and food is the best. “Courtney” served our party of ten in the private dining room and later at the dockside bar. She is one of reasons we will be back. Many restaurants in the Bahamas have an issue with large parties, this was definitely an exception to the rule.

Congratulations! Befitting accolades! My friend and I still talk about the wonderful time we had at your resort! The kids loved it!! You have created a beautiful sanctuary at Valentines with an amazing ambiance and fantastic customer service!

Positive Environment
Our friends and fellow yacht owners stayed at Valentines’ Marina & rented our unit last weekend for 5 nights. They raved about the marina, fabulous internet, loved our unit & commented on the cleanliness & upkeep of the property. Not one negative comment!!!! They were true diehards of Ramora!!! They will be travelling up the eastern coast this summer but would definately return to Valentines in the future. Thanks once again for turning Valentines into a positive environment Dean. We will be there July 2nd onboard “FULL CIRCLE”. See you then.
Absolutely Beautiful!
We had the pleasure of staying at valentines while we were at harbour island in june of 2014. what a beautiful resort – top of the line all the way! i only have one suggestion – bring bug spray with you. the bugs/flies are horrible on the island.

First class marina/resort
Arrived by boats and stayed for 4 days. To our surprise our friends ended up getting married on Saturday. At last minute the marina was able to accommodate a singer, a painter to paint on driftwood for the couple and a beautiful hotel suite for the honeymoon night to include a heart-shaped made of flowers with painted driftwood displayed…
Feels like home!
Our family and friends have been staying at Valentines’ for years. This property is absolutely gorgeous, but the local staff makes it feel like we are returning home. Perfect place for a group or family reunion. Kurt & Vanessa will treat you like a VIP from the time you arrive. The housekeeping staff will welcome your children and greet you…
Valentines is the best!
Valentine’s marina and hotel is the best in The Bahamas, and we have visited them all! As boater’s, we value a safe and secure marina, but Valentines is much more than that. Marcus, the dock master, and his assistant Peter, are always available for any of our needs, and make our time there feel like a home away from home….

Every need was met for our wedding in Harbour Island
The Beautiful Valentines Marina is where we docked after having our nuptials on our boat, just outside of the Harbour. Hans Moncur, Manager, was our “go-to man”, arranging everything to cocktails/dinner at the restaurant for our group, to lining up a local photographer and singer/guitarist. He even suggested a painted driftwood sign as a keepsake, made by a local artisan….
Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel. The rooms were beautiful clean and with all the amenities you would need. Staff were really friendly. Great bar with lovely food. The hotel was a great base to explore the island, I would recommend this hotel.
Very convenient location

Excellent food
The view and ambience is absolutely amazing. The restaurant overlooks the marina and it is very peaceful watching the yachts come and go.

Great little resort
Had a last minute trip and stayed here for a night. The condo was great and the marina side bar was awesome. Beautiful setting and great drinks! Would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to get away.
Valentines is a happening place
Be sure to take the ferry to the Valentine’s dock. Just a quick 10 minute ride from the airport. Arrive to the sounds of the Island music, friendly staff, great food, comfy lounge chairs all in a beautiful setting. Love the island life🇧🇸❤️🙏
Great place to stay in Harbor Island!
We rented Sapodilla House which is part of Valentines. It was great to be right downtown. We had lots of meals at the rooster tail bar, which were all great! We loved Chef Billy’s cooking and recommend the chicken quesadilla and the heartbreaker tower burger..yum! I especially loved Adamma! She became a friend and was exceptional as a server at dinner and came over and braided our girls hair on her day off! 😍😍
Perfect
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Valentine’s Marina. Helpful staff on the docks, in the office and restaurants. Love having a everything so conveniently located right at your fingertips! We’ll look forward to returning again soon.
Delightful Waterfront Dinner
Valentine’s will get very busy from now until next summer. Before the holiday rush, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Island drinks and the shrimp curry were especially good. Highly recommended. We were impressed that all damage to the dock from Dorian in September has been repaired.
